Hair Removal
SBS provides advanced medical-grade laser hair removal treatment. Our gold standard laser provide long-lasting, painless hair removal that is suitable for all skin types.
The treatment has an effect on hair that is in the active growth phase (also referred to as the anagen stage). The laser beam consists of precisely controlled energy pulses that are absorbed by the melanin (pigment) in the hair and reach the active hair follicles beneath the skin. The energy heats the hair all the way down to the root, safely destroying it without harming the surrounding tissue or skin.
A patch test is required 24-48 hrs before treatment.

Rejuvenation OPL/IPL
OPL (optimized pulsed light) is a photo-rejuvenation procedure that selectively targets melanin (brown spots) and hemoglobin (red lesions) for pigment and vessel clearance. Someone with sun damage, aging spots, rosacea, or broken capillaries is an ideal candidate. The primary goal is color correction, but with repeated sessions, improvements in skin surface and texture can be realized. OPL has a wonderful effect on the face, neck, décolletage, and hands.
A patch test is required 24-48 hours before treatment..

Acne Treatment
IPL operates in a very precise way and can provide extremely effective treatment for aggressive acne symptoms. While it is commonly assumed that excessive sebum production causes pores to get clogged, the presence of bacteria on the skin can cause irritated and infected patches.
Bacteria on the skin are totally normal; in fact, they are essential to our health and well-being. However, when the bacteria that cause acne proliferate, the consequences can be red and painful.
The IPL targets these bacteria, removing them from the affected areas’ surfaces. In addition, the light gently heats the surrounding tissue, boosting the skin’s natural healing process. This stimulates the skin.
The advantage of this type of treatment is the speed with which it can be carried out, as well as the fact that it does not damage the surrounding skin. Acne-prone skin can sometimes be damaged by treatments that are terribly harsh and make the skin more sensitive.

Carbon Peel
Carbon peel helps with acne, blackheads, dull skin, and huge pores. You’ll notice a fresh radiance in your skin after this non-invasive procedure. This carbon laser facial, sometimes referred to as a “Hollywood Facial,” “China Doll,” or “Black Doll” procedure, lessens the visibility of scars, flaws, and fine lines and wrinkles while enhancing the suppleness and general appearance of the skin.
After your first treatment, you may experience some slight redness, but you will also notice the glow and radiant skin, as well as decreased acne and pore size. This safe, non-invasive laser therapy has the effectiveness of several chemical peels.

Birthmark Removal
- Birthmarks can be categorized into two main types: vascular and pigmented. Vascular birthmarks, like port-wine stains and hemangiomas, involve abnormal blood vessels, while pigmented birthmarks, like moles and café-au-lait spots, involve an overgrowth of pigment-producing cells.
- Lasers are commonly used for birthmark removal due to their precision and effectiveness. For vascular birthmarks, such as port-wine stains, pulsed dye lasers (PDL) are often used. These lasers target the blood vessels in the birthmark, causing them to coagulate and fade over time. For pigmented birthmarks, such as certain types of moles, Q-switched lasers are typically used. These lasers target the pigment in the skin, breaking it down into smaller particles that are then naturally removed by the body.
- During the procedure, the laser is directed at the birthmark, and the intense light energy is absorbed by the targeted tissues. This leads to the destruction or fragmentation of the blood vessels or pigment cells without harming the surrounding skin. Multiple sessions may be required for optimal results, depending on the type, size, and depth of the birthmark.

Scar Removal
- Scars can result from various causes, including injuries, surgeries, or skin conditions like acne. Common types of scars include hypertrophic scars, keloids, and atrophic scars (such as those caused by acne).
- Laser therapy for scar removal aims to improve the appearance of scars by stimulating collagen production, breaking down scar tissue, and promoting skin regeneration. Different types of lasers may be used depending on the type and characteristics of the scar. For example, fractional lasers, such as fractional CO2 or fractional erbium lasers, create microscopic wounds in the skin, triggering the body’s healing response and promoting the growth of new, healthy skin cells. Pulsed-dye lasers and ablative lasers are also used for scar treatment, targeting blood vessels or scar tissue to reduce redness and improve texture.
- During the procedure, the laser is applied to the scarred area, and the energy is absorbed by the targeted tissues. This can lead to collagen remodeling, which helps to soften the appearance of the scar and improve skin texture. Multiple treatment sessions may be necessary, spaced several weeks apart, to achieve the desired results.
It’s important to note that while laser treatment can significantly improve the appearance of birthmarks and scars, complete removal may not always be possible. Additionally, the success of the treatment depends on various factors, including the type and severity of the birthmark or scar, as well as individual skin characteristics. Consult with us to determine the most suitable treatment approach and expected outcomes.
Pre & Post Treatment Advise
Pre Treatment Advice
- Carefully shave the treatment area the evening before your laser session.
- Arrive at our facility with the treatment area clean and free of makeup (if treating the face).
- Avoid the sun or tanning booths for 4 to 6 weeks before treatment.
- No bleaching, plucking, electrolysis, or waxing of hairs in the desired treatment area for six weeks.
- If you have a history of herpes or cold sores, you may need antiviral medication. This medication should be started one day before laser treatment and continued for one week after treatment.
Post Treatment Advice
There may be redness or swelling around the treated area. This may last for a few hours. The skin will be sensitive and feel similar to a sunburn. Treat the area gently by keeping the skin moist with aloe vera gel. If any blistering or scabbing develops, switch to Bacitracin Ointment and call the clinic.
- Do not pick, rub, or scratch the area. Do not use any irritating substances on the treated area (i.e., RetinA, glycolic acids, alpha-hydroxy acids, hair removal products, etc.) until the skin returns to normal.
- If your face is treated, your skin will be extra sensitive to heat. Keep away from the oven for 24 hours, and maintain a cool water temperature when taking a shower or bath.
- If the treatment area will be exposed to the sun, apply Sunblock SPF 50+.
- If your face was treated, you may resume using makeup when the skin looks and feels normal again.
- Shedding of the hair follicle may or may not occur after 5 to 7 days.
- The treated area should be ready for the next session in about 3 to 6 weeks.
